Required items for all Minnesota State Colleges & Universities diplomas

1. Required: Board Chair David Olson's signature.

   David Olson became the new board chair August 1, 2007. Please update the board chair's signature on your institution's diplomas.

   David Olson's title should be below his signature on two lines as it appears here.

   1. First line should be: David Olson's signature
   2. Second line should read: Chair, Board of Trustees
   3. Third line should read: Minnesota State Colleges & Universities
2. Required: Institution president's signature.
3. Required: You must identify your institution on the diploma as a member of the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system in one of two ways:

   The tag line
   The tag line can be used in any location, and in any font on the diploma, but must read as follows:

   "A member of the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system."

Or, you can use the logo seal in combination with the tagline.

4. Chancellor James H. McCormick's signature (Optional item for Minnesota State Colleges & Universities diplomas)

   If you choose to include the Chancellor's signature on your diplomas, Chancellor McCormick's title should be below his signature on two lines as it appears here.

   1. First line should be: James H. McCormick's signature
   2. Second line should read: Chancellor
   3. Third line should read: Minnesota State Colleges & Universities
